Why Choose Hillcrest

Why Choose Hillcrest

Our mission is to be ‘A caring home that offers choice and independence, enabling residents to live a fulfilling life’.

To help us achieve that we have developed and are guided by the principles set out in our ‘Residents' Charter’ and our ‘Philosophy of Care’, which detail resident’s rights whilst in our care as well as our obligations as a care provider.  These form the cornerstones of our relationships with our residents.

Additionally, a ‘Care Plan’ is agreed with each resident (and family members, if appropriate) prior to or on admission which is individual to them and reflects their personal, medical and lifestyle requirements.  Residents’ care plans are regularly reviewed and updated to ensure their personal needs are being met, or better still, exceeded.

We provide care for people living with diseases linked not only to the ageing process but also to those who have suffered stroke, acquired brain injury, chronic medical conditions and neurodegenerative conditions. When capacity allows, we may provide short-term respite care.

"The team at Hillcrest have made my Mum’s very difficult journey with a challenging disease much easier because of their professionalism and support."
